Incarnation Lutheran Preschool Curriculum
Curriculum,
Ratios and Teacher Qualifications The over all goal of our curriculum is to advance children when they are ready, challenge when needed, and keep it all fun. Each year more concepts and academics are introduced so when children leave the program they are competent and Kindergarten ready!
Mother’s Day Out is an enrichment program to introduce children to social situations. Designed for 2 year-olds and one day a week only. Ratios are 2 teachers to 10 children. Activities include:

Toddlers and Twos

Chapel - Chapel is held every Friday in the church sanctuary from 9:00 - 9:20 am. All children attend chapel with their teachers and the preschool Director. Parents are welcome any time! This special time includes singing, music and movement, Bible stories told by the Pastor and a brief prayer time. Later an art project may be completed in class that reflects the story of the week.

Fitness Frenzy - We are pleased to offer Fitness Frenzy to our students twice a month. This program is offered at no additional cost. The mission of Fitness Frenzy is "to increase the awareness of physical fitness in children. We strive to improve the health of today's youth and introduce adolescents into a healthy lifestyle in a fun and safe program. It is our goal to educate children that through exercise and nutrition they will live a happier and healthier life."
Teacher
Qualifications – The program staff is experienced and qualified in
early childhood education and meets
or exceeds the state required professional guidelines. Most of our staff hold degrees at various levels and are
credentialed through the California Department of Education.
All staff must be professing Christians and have a nurturing, positive
attitude and special sensitivity to children.
Staff is carefully evaluated to ensure that all children are provided
age-appropriate experiences in an accepting, caring atmosphere.
Staff attends workshops, in-services and/or professional growth
opportunities and staff meetings. The
staff is trained in First aid and CPR.
